Barbie-in-a-Blender Day
We are celebrating Barbie-in-a-Blender Day on July 27. The day was started by Freeculture.org to show their support for photographer and artist Tom Forsythe. This is also a day to raise awareness about the necessity of freedom of expression. The organization is now renamed ‘Students For a Free Culture.’ The day, which was first celebrated in 1997, is best spent by understanding the concepts of freedom of expression and why it is important. We can also take the name of the day literally and have some crazy fun on the occasion.
