A Meeting
Starting separately on the block between Potomac and W Delavan- two dancers are traveling toward Soldier's Circle, one along Bidwell Park and Chapin Parkway. The two are dancing through space with choreographed contemporary/modern phrases and room for explorative improvisation. Audience members will be passersby or assembled in Soldier's Circle. As the two dancers decrease the distance between them, they start to dance in unison with each other and in closer proximity and some partner work. The soundscape is the natural world around us (no produced sound).
